Within the scope of the “Environment and Ocean Literacy (EOL) Project in the Black Sea Basin” supported by the Yuva Association within the scope of the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Program, “Environment and Ocean Literacy Training” was organized in cooperation with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM).
A total of 21 personnel from the Environmental Protection and Control Department, Police Department, Waste Management, Climate Change and Marine Services Departments working within the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality attended the training.
This training program aimed to raise awareness about the environment and marine ecosystems and to contribute to sustainable environmental management. The training was an important step in understanding environmental problems in the Black Sea and increasing the knowledge and competence of local government personnel in this field.
